Swinging and Balancing

This week we have started learning about gymnastics in PE. We went on the jungle gyms to see how we could balance and swing. We are very clever with the amazing bodies God has given us!

Old MacDonald Had a Farm

This week we have read the story  Old MacDonald Had a Farm. We made a paper bag barn with animals and a tractor in it.

Blackboard Painting Letters

We have been searching for this weeks alphabet letters on the blackboard. We had to find all the "a's" and paint over them with water.

A for Alligators

We made alligator hats for our letter "A" work. We also had a go at making this week's alphabet letters out of playdough. Can you see the letters - a,t,p,i in the photos?

Week 4 Congratulations....

Well done to Theo, Joel, Faith and Emmanuel who got certificates in assembly today. Keep up the great work.

Our Farm Trip

On Thursday 22nd August Room A, B and C went to a farm. We saw cows being milked, pigs being fed, got to climb on the tractor and then we helped feed the baby calves. They were very cute and sucked our fingers!

A huge THANK YOU to all the parents who came with us. We couldn't have done it without you.

Alphabet Snake

The Jellyfish reading group worked with Mrs Cindy to make the alphabet snake - well done team! They used the our alphabet word wall to help them.

In Big Explore Time we are learning to manage ourselves. Today we were trying to follow instructions. We made gardens, a city, box houses and animal pattern drawings.

At Big Explore Time to we were learning to follow instructions. Millie, Joel and Nadya followed the instructions to make some chocolate chip cookies for us - they were really yummy!

Making Farms

This week we have read a big book about farms. We used the small world animals in the play trough to make our own farms.
