Easter Explore Time

This morning we had a fantastic time working in Rooms A, B or C doing Easter actvities. Lots of parents stayed to help us. Some children made crackle nests for all of us and everyone made a cross biscuit. Some of the other activities included: bookmarks, paper doll soldiers, mobiles and cards. We talked about the true meaning of Easter - Jesus dying on the cross.

We really enjoyed going to swimming today.

Dancing

We have "Music and Movement" time before we do reading and maths. This helps us to get all the wriggles out of our bodies so that we can concentrate hard. 

On Tuesday we learnt a new song.

It was really funny because we got to stick our tongues out!

Mrs Phillips Congratulates....

Mrs Phillips' special Junior School certificate went to Amalie this week for her kindness to the new children in Room A.

Rocky Shore Trip

 Yesterday we went to Taylors Mistake beach. We played beach games, did a scavenger hunt, played with parachutes, made amazing sandcastles and investigated the rock pools. It was a great day - a huge thank you to all the parents who helped us.

Super Star Room A Writers!

This week we have had some vey clever writers in Room A. They are able to record the letter sounds they can hear. Well done Eeasha, Emilie and Tupou!
